I've decided to take the plunge and get qualified as an electrician. I've been working in telecoms for the last 10 yrs so have plenty of experience in art of containment and the likes but because I don't have paper qualifications I'm restricted in what I can do. I'm going to take the EAL, 17th and T&I route to get me up to speed on the domestic front but 1 question I do have is How do you qualify for the commercial market ie shops and business.

Thanks Rich

Hi drywax, If you get the qualifications for Domestic that you mentioned above then believe me[20 yrs in shopfitting] you will be well enough qualified.
Regards Liam
