Just a quick post to introduce myself.
I am a JIB time served electrician 36 years of age. I haven't worked as an electrician for almost 10 years. After qualifying I moved from an installtion capacity to a maintenance role. From working on machines I progressed to robots. I then got a job as an industrial robotics engineer for the global leadewr ABB. I have recently now been promoted to accounts engineer and no longer work on the tools. With the current economic climate in the auto industry, which is where most of our robots are used, I am looking at the possibilty of redundancy and thinking about starting my own business as an electrician.
