Hi all.

quick question, on a rfc wires in 2.5 single or tne, can you use high integrity sockets and terminate each cpc into a different terminal, and same at the db, or do you have to pull a 4mm radial cpc
in aswell.

i learnt that you could just split the cpc at college years ago, but reading up it apparently needs to be 4mm?

also what would you code a computer circuit with no high integrity earthing on a eicr?

Is the protective conductor current likely to exceed 10ma?

Figure 7.5.3 ON site guide mate. One terminal to be used for each protective conductor including at the DB (obviously a Ring final). The CPC must have a minimum csa of 1.5mm with the circuits marked at the DB indicating high protective conductor currents.

Cheers everyone. But thought it would be more than a c3, as a disconnected cpc could lead to the cpc having half the potential of nominal voltage?

I will need to have one of my rare visits to that good book to see if I am about to state a load of bull

The total area of all the conductors in a multi core cable inc the live conductors shall be not less than 10mm

If that is correct then there will be no code for a twin+E ring final even if its used without the sepearate 4mm earth as per a radial
