High Level PIR Floodlight

Hi guys.

ive been asked to swap an old halogen flood light for a new led one with built in PIR.

The existing light is at about 6m off ground level.

has anyone ever mounted a LED flood at this Height and had no issues with PIR detection?

How you going to install it with stilts or scaffolding.

At 6m up, it will be quite a big floodlight?

you can get them with pir that work at that sort of range but they will not be in sh1tfix or other discount shops.

Most do work at that height, but ideally lower. I use ansell calinor

F;ood light at high level and put a sensor at lower leve; ?

I have a bog standard one at that height , no issues with it

Not sure on the range but it works fine around it
