Yep so painted the Hilmor pretty crap paint job but with new bits and a bit of paint not bad I must say. It's now ready for work. Just waiting for the end caps to arrive and put some wheels on to move it around.

What type of paint did you use?
I have just acquired a one in a similar condition as yours but I had to pay twice what you paid.

I remember, donkeys years ago, doing some maintenance work in a factory. The maintenance spark had been killed in a motorbike accident and his apprentice was a right plonker. I don't like speaking ill of the dead but I think they were a pair. One of them had completely painted a Hilmor.......including both formers.

What type of paint did you use?
