Hob and oven back to the same cooker connection point?

Hi, I wondered if anyone can help me. I have a 3.5kw oven and am looking to buy a worktop hob. I have one cooker point in the kitchen and wondered if I can double up (wire both the hob and the oven to the same cooker point). It's currently on a 32a mcb. Thanks in advance

You can normally connect them both to the same supply, subject to confirmation of compliance with the regulations.
But you do need a seperate connection point for each appliance.
