i wanted to learn about home automated systems like crestron , lutron etc..most important for me its first fix..any one know any course around london who give a basic information for first fix..how can i learn about them..

If you're in the domestic market start by reading up about ZigBee although I read recently it looks like Philips are going with their own 'closed system' as of their latest firmware updates so maybe avoid the Philips Hue system if your customers don't want to be tied to Philips lamps (bulbs) and other hardware.

yes marvo , im in the domestic market..i like to learn on those systems because i think on the future looks like the have biggest market..im interested to know in general , not in specific one..i want to know how systems its work..as i stated on first postage im more interested on first fix first..

ZigBee is an open source, high level networking protocol that many different automation systems utilise due to its adaptability and low power consumption. It's operates like a mesh network meaning whilst direct transmissions are low power and range distances are short (maybe 20m), distant devices can be controlled by using other existing devices that are closer or mid-way to relay or pass on communication data to them.

Incidentally I see, after getting absolutely slated in the press and by their own customers, Philips have rapidly backpeddled and u-turned on their decision to make other manufacturers products incompatible with their Philips Hue hubs.
