I am looking at a project on a brand new build with a kingspan insulated roof overlaid with a rubber membrane. The client is looking for a 10kW installation on a roof with plant equipment and the architects didn't really give any thought to panel spacing to allow for an angled array. As a result we are having to consider a horizontal array, we don't want to ruin the new roof (again it was laid without any consideration to the solar array fixings) so want something with ballast.

Any ideas on whether there is anything manufactured that will do the trick?

Yep, Try solion sunmount, a low profile, 10 degree product similar to Console, can be filled with pavig slabs / ballast.
