Ive got a hot tub to wire one day this week,it requires a 32amp circuit and it is about 20meters from house, should i just run a 4.0mm armoured from the crabtree starbreaker to a IP65 rotary isolator, and then just use some armoured flex from that to the hottub,

Just a couple of things I guess you would have thought of.
Obviously the circuit will need RCD protection, either from a shared incomer, if a split board, or an individual RCBO. If you are going across a garden be careful with your cable routing, garden forks will go straight through SWA (another reason for the RCD). No problem with the local isolator but if you have any SWA left over why not connect in with that or if not possibly SY. Remember to include for outdoor glands in your price.

Good luck, and remember to take your overalls off before you test your work:eek:

And don't forget, the steel wires on the swa are a consductor for the e f l path, AS well as the cpc(16th ed,sorry, what was the 17th term for the cpc?)
