Tried to get into the alarm section but think I need to post more.
Any one in the Southend on Sea area want to give me a quote on a wired alarm for my house.
I have a few things I want from this alarm but will discuss that later.

Why not try fitting it yourself. If you are an electrician you should find it easy enough.
Use you own house as a trial,it may take you a while, but you will get there
then when joe public wants one fitted you will know what to do.

Thanks for reply but with so many systems to choose from I thought I'd get someone in who does it all day long.
plus alarm fitting is not something I want to get into.
I can't believe that I have not had a message from someone who might want the job.

I'm afraid the alarms section is only accessible for people in the trade for security reasons. There's topics of discussion in there that would be of interest to the less savoury types for the wrong reasons.

As Robson suggests try a new thread in the jobs section and maybe state 'alarm installer wanted' in the title of the thread. Otherwise you can just make a post in this thread onmce or twice a day, I'm sure it will get spotted soon enough.
