I am currently re wiring an 11th floor apartment in central London. the apartment was last wired in the 80's. on problem is there is only one coax aerial coming from main riser outside apartment to main t.v location, nowadays I always run at least 2 or more to every t.v point especially the main, as is required by modern sky and cable. in this case it is virtually impossible to run a second cable, would require MASSIVE work, how necessary is it or is there an alternative, some piece of technology im am unfamiliar with? just looking for suggestions, thanks....John

in the ideal world you should ask the customers what are they planning to use (sky, aerial, cable?)
they should ring the sky/aerial/cable people, ask them to send the engineer round, and work with them at that point.

in some cases a cental distribution amplifier (labgear etc) plus single coax drop per point does the job

You might be able to use a stacker and de-stacker if there wanting sky with the 2 feeds down the one cable, or a triplexer to send tv,fm and 1 sat feed down the 1 coax

Combiners, splitters, distribution boxes, wireless.......

Loads of solutions out there.

Take a look at Labgear, Triax and Satcure sites for some ideas.

I've a few PDF's collected from various sources a couple of years ago and will happily email to you.
