In my degree I did not took electrical or energy modules(concentrating on analogue/digital/software/math/management modules) and did not work with high voltages. If I want to become domestic electrician (primarily for my own house) - what would be the easiest way to get required certifications?

Yep, same as everyone else. :)

I wouldn't say your previous degree wouldn't have any benefit. You will "get" the theory a lot quicker, but there's more theory than what's already been covered in your degree to learn... happen not as academically demanding, but there's still a fair bit to learn. And none of the practical aspects will have been covered on your degree course, I imagine.

I'm a little confused by what you mean by, "easiest"...? :aureola:

The simple answer is don't bother, get a well paid job in the field you are qualified in and hire an electrician to do the work in your own house.
