Hi

Given that...

Total Installed Capacity (TIC) is the maximum capacity at which an Eligible Installation could be operated for a sustained period without causing damage to it (assuming the Eligible Low-carbon Energy Source was available to it without interruption), a declaration of which is submitted as part of the processes of ROO-FIT Accreditation and MCS certified Registration.

Then how do I work out TIC? Is it the KWp of panels times the published inverter efficiency? (e.g 97%)

The maximum capacity of a PV system is limited by the maximum output from the inverter. So you may need to take more than just the raw efficiency figure into account.

Also inverters typically have efficiencies that vary depending on the level of input voltage. Most quoted single figures are the maximum possible at a particular spot on the curve - which may not be the spot that gets hit by a particular panel configuration.
