How would I power 3 GU10 LEDs from one plug (power cable)

Are you fitting a switch or just using the switch on the socket( if it has one)
Do you have the lights?

Just the socket switch. I don't have the lights. It's just all hypothetical and this seems like a better idea.

Wire to Live, Neutral & Earth (if earth is needed) to first light, then to second, then to 3rd.

I would fix one of these to the unit then connect lights using two or three core flex and mains cord to it. This provides enclosure and cord restraint.

I'm not the best with electronics, so if you don't mind being more detailed, that would be super helpful. I understand what you mean but I don't want to make any mistakes. I believe this will be wired in series?

Obviously I'd have to get some GU10 sockets first right? Any specific ones?

Okay. Will do. Will I need to add resistors? And what about the ground wire from the mains?

This is basic wiring knowledge mate. I'm with @westward10 on this and think you should get someone in to help you with this.
Mains voltage can be dangerous.
