Hi, I just saw this on the HowStuffWorks website

"Toasters and other appliances having exposed heating coils should not be grounded, because grounding actually increases the risk of electric shock."

This is nonsense, isn't it?

Just yet another example of some mug's amateur internet contribution.
If you want to learn anything off the web, choose wisely, 99.9% of it is utter garbage.
That includes Wiki, though it's a reasonable place to start from, but don't treat it as gospel!
