I finally had a brain wave and used Wagos for central heating. I did it after realising i only had pieces of connector strip and not a whole strip and i thought it would look naff. Hunted through the van and found my wago box and voila i shall never go back

All looks good, but can't see any brown sleeving on your switch wires? Do you not bother sleeving up heating controls? Might try the wagos though next time. Good luck on the world peace thing.
 
I have no excuse for it really. Just not a habbit i developed, the guy who trained me never did it on heating controls and ive never been brought up on it before. I can see why i should do it though
 
I don't sleeve heating control cores except where a blue core is used as a line conductor or a brown (or other non-blue) core is use as neutral. BGB table 51 allows for a variety of core colours to be used for a line conductor on control circuits, including orange and white.
