I have a job where the Ze is at 8.38 OHMS it was at 50.48 OHMS i have installed a new Earth rod but cant bring it down anymore has anyone got any advice on what I should do the mains is at least 300 meters away from the house my Zs is coming in at 8.72 OHMS for the sockets

if this is a TT supply then that would seem quite a reasonable figure to me, the front end time delay Residual Current Device (R C D) and hopefully the 30ma circuit protection will protect up to 200 ohms (over this is considered unstable)

I'm gonna go back and disconnect the main earth and turn it into a TT system as its currently a TNC-S its all protected by RCD/RCBOS

Are you sure it is a legit TNCS ? is it an old cable with a lead sheath or could be a previous bootleg botched DIY attempt at a PME
