I have my domestic installers test in about 4 weeks from NIC. What do I have to prepare for / questions / material / books? Going nuts here! They ask to see two completed jobs with certs. Can I give job results on City & guilds downloadable test sheets?

He will turn up drink tea/coffee and inspect your paperwork (details of what you need will be in the pack they sent you and on their website. He will ask you questions based on the regs.
He will then take a look at your submissions and ask you to perform some tests.
Then he'll tell you that you've passed.

They will want what to see your qualifications, 2M insurance, complaints forms (download from niceic), health and safety documents, tester calabration, part p building regulation and electricity at work regulations 1989( download from net), certificates of 2 jobs done and access to these jobs. See you do all testing over the two jobs (1 of each test) R1+R2 on the cooker, maybe a ring test etc. They may ask you questions like permitted insulation resistance and test voltage, max Zs for a circuit, permitted rcd trip times.
My advise is to put it all in a folder in sections to make it easy for them to see. All the books as well, bs7671, gn3. If you don't have something then they may just note you need to get it.
Good luck.

has anyone ever failed a scam assessment lol ?
I've not heard of anyone failing as in you're dangerous and should never be let loose near electricity as long as you have a hole in your butt. Although I have heard of people semi failing as in your paperwork isn't quite right, email us a picture of the new stuff.
