Hi Quick question as I can’t seem to find the regulation in the BBB.
Carried out an EICR and found the load for the water tank was wired in 2.5 t and e.
On testing the circuit I couldn’t see a thermal cut out. Could you help me out with the appropriate regs regarding these observations.
Thanks in advance FC814EEF-9B8E-4E0A-A8F1-A2D1380ABFA1.jpegFC814EEF-9B8E-4E0A-A8F1-A2D1380ABFA1.jpeg

554.2.1 for the cut-out.

not sure if there is one for the cable if no signs of thermal damage.
Thanks it’s off a dedicated circuit via a FCU and timer so will just change for a DP SW and add 2.5 heat resistant cable with some clips, as the existing is Miles too long and wrapped around the shelving and the tenants camping gear!

That thermostat has a built in cutout.
is it that blob between the 2 terminals on the stat. on the pic it looks more like a screw head, but googling the stat, it does say cut-out is in it.

problem is how do you know if it works? can't test as the stat will cut out long before the cut-out.
