Yeah I made the mistake of buying a cheap one (circa. £30) and it lasted about 3 months. So I bought this one (Link) and have had no problems. The footage is excellent (will get the memory card out it later and upload some clips) and at £95 plus memory card (I went for a class 10 32gb, £15) not too pricey.

Might be worth having a look at Blackvue, they seem to be one of the big guys in this sector. I'm just trying to find a video where I'm not singing or talking crap and trying to work out how to hide my reg (it's imprinted on the film with date/time!)

Installed one in my van. Called Mini 0803. It was from this lot:
https://www.joovuu.com/gb/home/106-mini-0803.html
Looks like they've done another spec update since.

Here's a review of an earlier model:
Techmoan - Techmoan - The Mini 0801 - Tiny 1080p GPS Car Camera with an LCD*Screen

Pretty good video from a really compact package, even at night.

Even though small, it's difficult to decide where to stick it so that it doesn't impede your view. The space behind the rear view mirror wasn't really available, as there's a large housing with various sensors there.

i have bought a blackvue 650 2camera kit.

i used it for the first time today and im impressed, there phone app lets you watch a live feed so you can see exactly where is best to put it.

the image quality is great, ill upload some footage later
