Indesit Tumble Dryer starts…then stops

Hello ! My Indesit YT M11 82X UK tumble dryer starts, then almost immediately stops.Both Lint filters clean, water tank empty, no error codes, less than a year old. Wondered if there were any simple solutions before I call someone in to have a look. Cheers !

Does it start, then just stop completely, or does it just pause for a long time before continuing?

How old is it? It might have just reached the end

I think the bit of the OP' message that says "less than a year old" might be a clue!

Thanks for replying - it starts for a second or so then pauses and doesn’t turn back on. It’s less than a year old.

How old is it? It might have just reached the

If it's less than a year it should be under warranty. Your first call should be to either the manufacturer or the shop that sold it. If you get someone else in to look at it you could invalidate the warranty.
