Hello everyone
I hope you all well,,
I have a question regarding old method install rosy lights-switch and connect in the box,I have a problem with one fault sort it ,the light doesn’t work,I needed help,I have experi connect in the switch…

I take it it’s a problem with loop in at the ceiling rose. 3 plate, or whatever you want to call it.

(Correct me if I’m wrong, or this thread is heading off at a tangent)

It’s easy using loop-in to get things mixed up when the black (now blue) from the switch is live rather than a neutral. It should have been sleeved.

Is this a new fault in existing wiring, or were you working on the circuit and created the fault?

Best advice just now is pictures.
