Installing "Main & Supplementary Bonding"

Hi folks,

I am sure, installing Main & Supplementary Bonding is a major job and is notifiable. Could someone suggest what tests need doing and what certificate needs filling in.

think it is down to whether you are installing or upgrading earthing and bonding. either way, a EIC detailing the supply and earthing/bonding characteristics is needed.

As far as I know bonding to incoming services is not notifiable but main earthing is ?

Installing or upgrading main or supplementary bonding is not a notifiable job "Such work will need to comply with other applicable legislation, such as the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations." (Extract from Part P)

Deatail what you've done on a minor works cert and give it to the customer.
