Got a Question .......................... I have recently got quotes for Liability insurance ranging from £650 - £850 then I contacted NICEIC £127.

Iam I missing something ?????

whats the PL limit? 2 or 5 mil? and full risk or basic risk?

The £127 certainly looks a lot more sensible than the £650+. Did the others say why it was so high because that certainly doesn't sound normal for basic £2M PL anyway.
I pay a bit over £200 for £2M PL, £500k PI and £1000 tools (including left in the van) from Jelf I think.

I pay between around £200 for 2M PL plus PI and Employer's Liability

I have just renewed actually for 870, thats 5 mil PL, 10 mil EL, with 2k of tools for up to 3 subcontractors and full risk due to the majority of my work being in schools around children, thats with direct Line

You should be able to get something under 500 easily then Michael, However IMO the NICEIC are not cowboys, if they say they can offer it for 127 I would ask them to confirm in writing the offer and what it is for, if they confirm they can give you want you want then bite their hands off
