HI,

I have an iphone and want to make the most out of it as seen as am paying an arm and a leg. With over 90,000 apps out there, some must be aimed at electricians.

Anyone know of any handy apps that will come in useful at work or college?

would love to buy an iphone but with all the abuse it would take getting knocked about onsite all day can't really justify the expense, how much is is it costing you out of interest?

ive got a few good ones

Tapatalk - gets you on this forum (fantastic)
Ohms law
electrical calculations

type any of those in on the app store search

I also saved the Cable size calculation link that a very nice man on here put on a thread a while back

elec toolkit
and any of the decent conversion apps

Also, Paul the spark -

I have a protective cover called an Otterbox which completely covers my phone

Ive had mine nearly a year now and not a scratch or speck of dust on it.

Its safely encased in plastic and then rubber, all holes are covered and screen is protected
Ive chucked it, dropped it, splashed it and its fine

Any tradesman who is worried about the iphone being flimsy should buy one of these Otterbox covers
They are cheap on Amazon and although they do make your phone a bit bulkier than without i reckon they are well worth it.

sales pitch over.
