Hi ..
I have 2 ELectrical Power Blocks ( the sort of ones you plug up to 4 plugs in)

1 Has My PC, Printer, Monitor,Lamp
The other has my Modem, Router, Cordless Internet Phone..

I wish to place a Switch between the 2 Blocks would a 6AMP Through Switch be ok ?
The reason being is why have extra plugs burning power when not needed throught the day?
I only have 1 Mains Wall Socket so I have to join 2 Power Blocks together.. for all my 8 plugs, and like I say I only need 4 on through the day, then on a night time have the other 4 for my PC,Monitor,Lamp..

I could keep pulling the Block Plug out of the other, But I thought a switch would be better..

Thanks for any advice...

Regards

A switch is a good idea..

But NOT a 6 AMP one..

The switch should be rated higher than the max load that could be drawn through the 'block' so 20 Amp would be the correct choice.
