Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum and looking for some information about how to repair an LED floor lamp that is on the fritz. Here's a picture of the connector and driver.

The lamp and wiring is fine - I have a second identical lamp and it works when plugged into that other driver. However this one driver seems faulty and I can't find a replacement driver or even identify the kind of connector so I can narrow down my search. The manufacturer seems to be based in Taiwan and has no website. I'd appreciate any suggestions or direction you can point me in. Thanks so much for the time and taking a look.

Welcome to the forum. It's a 2 pin Din speaker connector. Sometimes also used for this sort of thing. Commonly available.

could always alter the plug to suit a new driver.

Tel's idea is probably the best. Saves struggling to find the same type.

Thanks for the quick reply. I'm not super confident with my abilities for a job like this - does anyone have a recommendation for someone in New York City who could help with this? Ideally it would be great to keep the pair of lamps as they currently are used as bedside lighting.

Standard connector used on reclining sofa/chair PSUs.

Lister1987, that's a fantastic lead thank you. Could something like this work on a plug and play basis? It's output is higher - 2A, DC 29V, whereas my wall plug is rated at 700 mA DC 3-14V, but if the LED draws just 700 mA is this just an overbuilt (but safe and workable) solution?

Thanks, I appreciate the guidance. Could this be a better fit or is there something specific about LED Drivers that a standard power supply would not work.

(EDIT: Upload the image directly to the thread Removed)
