Got to a job late afternoon & Sparky had taken out some ring mains, stripping out purposes, & reinstatEd the same circuit to keep other areas of the ring working.
No ring continuity,so had a look at a couple of junction boxes, they are maintained Hager Ones ,real nice.
So the live, was in the 2 marked live & neutral were the same,I told him , that don’t look right shouldnt they’ve been opposite,is the connection 2x lives or like a in & out.Did you check, the connections,NO,ain’t too sure myself now.
Being late & really not interested @ this point, left the circuit off & returning Monday.
Are these Hager boxes straight through connection, silly question I know ,but aye nothing to do with me.

Just looks like a standard junction box usually used with a lighting circuit. Each little block can house up to 4 conductors which will all have continuity. All the PL's go in the same block etc etc.

I wouldn't personally be using them to join a ring as they are rated at 20A.
