Hello All,

Newish in here, thinking of career change. Was looking at doing the 2330 evening classes for three years.

There seems to be a lot of people that have it and a bit of experience but can not get into the trade.

Am I wasting my time? Is teh market flooded?

Help....

My advice if you want to do 2330 - try and get in as an apprentice (if young enough) or as an electrical mate. As soon as you're working, get yourself through college. Saves going through three years and nearly 3 grand to find out you are gonna struggle finding employment. Some areas of the country have loads of jobs for newly qualified sparks and others have none and it can be a real fight to get work.
