Discuss Is this a legit place to install a DB? in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

They would have just mounted it on a detachable panel cover. Agree, the shelf unit needs moved.

The top isolating switch… does it open fully, or does it hit your white db there?

Don’t know about the box bolted on the right hand side of the panel at the top. Depends on the depth of the panel, but I don’t think it opens as it’ll hit the 200A Bill box half out of shot

Good point, you might need to change some fuses in there!

I was wondering about the space (if any) beyond that main panel. From the shadow on the floor next to the yellow danger sign I guess there is a reasonable amount of space but without a view in that direction it is really hard to tell if there is any danger of other things clashing.

Believe it or not, there’s was a Henley block about 2 feet away from that with more bonding. I did wonder about the tails but that’s the old supply that apparantly only feeds the landscapers shed. It’s in a crematorium so if they are undersized and it goes up in flames it would kind of be poetic in a morbid way lol
