I will be carrying out as part of a testing and inspection, an installation with 4 RCBO's, 2330 exam.
while carrying out an Insulation Resitance Test om the whole installation.
My question is that an RCBO can give readings as low as 2.7 Megohm N-Earth, if there are 4 will they act as being in Parallel and give an even lower result over all.
Would it be best to Test each circuit individually?

Thanks
:)

For me, i'd test them all seperatly.
How many circuits are you testing on the 2330 exam?,

Hey.

Not sure you should be meggering RCBO's mate.

1. You risk damaging them.
2. As you already said they will give you a false reading.

Jusy MHO.

Cheers.

Not sure i would blast RCD's/RCBO's either!

As the others have said, test separate.
