i have now need to get a new osculating saw having me bosh ones has just died will take it down the garden and throw it in next doors garden ,i bet you through throughout i was going to bury it ,
so now go for a corded one or go for a cordless one ,so gents and ladies tongue in cheek ,what have you got, me think going down the road and buying a new makita .

If your looking for a cordless then I recommend the Makita DTM51Z with tool less blade change had one for a couple of years now and it gets a lot of use, for corded I have a Dewalt with variable trigger speed and tool less blade change it's a good machine but the tool less set up occasionally compromises the depth of cut

I use a cordless dewalt, only because all my tools are and I can’t be bothered with different batteries, I also have a corded macallister that I’ll use if I have a ---- load of of cuts.....I have to be fair to it I have absolutely demolished and abused it and it won’t give up! ?

Bosch PMF 180 E Multifunctional Allrounder Oscillating Multi-Tool with Cutting Discs, Saw Blades and

to be fair had it 15years and had me moneys worth . and it was was bosh made them first.

My corded Bosch died last year as well. Not happy, because although it was about four years old, it hadn't seen a lot of use.
Was going to replace it with another Bosch, but then discovered they've gone their own way with a new blade fitting arrangement, so went for a Makita TM3010 with the quick change standard blade arrangement. Can't fault it up to now, and it's probably seen twice the usage already that the Bosch did before it quit.

Fein is no doubt the RR of oscillating tools and the blades last three times the cheap versions making them more economical in the long run, the only thing that pleas's me and bugs me at the same time is the 2m cord, great when using it, but a pain to get back in the case.

Fein make top notch tools, but I sold mine on ebay after finally buying a cordless Makita. There is no comparison between the two, but the Makita is more than sufficient for my needs and I don't want more than one battery platform.

i've got an old Fein110V, allen key blade change. an Aldi 10.8V, Aldi 12V, and a beast of an AEG 18V. (same batteries as my AEG cordless drill and impact driver.

Usually you just go with the same make as you have other tools to avoid multiple batteries & chargers. I think the top handful of brands are probably all OK.

I have a couple of 18V Milwaukee tools so probably would look to them for anything else, but to be fair I could probably get a decent enough tool and matching batteries/charger for about the same as some of the Milwaukee options cost!
