Anybody use massive storage?

JBOD Supplier? (Just-a-bunch-of-disks)

Have a friend who supplies them to the likes of Aston Martin (who use them for their simulators) and lots of companies who make movies, including paramount studios who were making fantastic 4 while I was there but had to sign NDA so can't talk about it yet but got lots of photos on the sly for when it does come out and I can show you some cool parts of 1 set. Was the size of a big football stadium! And it was all to scale but smaller so nearly walked into a 'thing' as I thought it was further away than it was pmsl got out of there then before we got told off.

Wondering what the going rate retail is for some of these things which with their header server than runs them can be 50k a pop.

He wants a website sorting so think I'll be putting my practice Magento stores into actual real action in '25.

Walked into “a” thing…. Or walked into “the” Thing….. The Thing being one quarter of the Fantastic 4.

Oh haha my mate did wonder why I wasn't more star struck just by the atmosphere but I said to him I've never seen the others mate I'm a marvels guy.

They also did a lot of the carry on stuff years back so had halls with all their best known scenes in action (like a single frame of the series and stuff) next to a pic or the actors and some prop from the scene and the older bloke (about 55) kept saying do you remember them mate? But didn't want say I've not long turned 40 lol

There was a screwfix inside there though so that they don't have to keep going sign out ghen off site and sign back in again and stuff. An actual little screwfix counter attached to a massive warehouse sized building that also looked like the traditional warner village style

All the road names were actors too but them were also wasted on me ha I just wanted see the tech.
