i don't think even the JIB can explain it.
 
10-12 smokes a day, and a few beers = Electrical Improver
12-15 smokes a day, as above with a couple of chasers = Electrician
15-20 smokes a day, a few beers and a fair volume of spirits = Approved Electrician
20-30 smokes a day, some grey hairs, and a bottle of spirits = Technician
30-40 smokes a day, a day a week at AA (not the automobile association), full head of grey, divorced and skint = Time served in any of the above!!!
