Does anyone know offhand where I can source a 5 core 25mm SWA joint kit from?
Designer worked out run length from drawings and assumed no ups downs etc. He was only 45m out!! Unfortunately we've already pulled in the 100m supplied and need to extend. Any help greatly appreciated as the solution so far suggested (by designer) is use a 4 core joint and use an extra connector. I don't like it but if it's the only way, then so be it. Thanks in advance.

above or below ground for the joint???

45% out! must be some long up and downs for him to be that far out. dock his biscuits at play time

In a duct . I'm guessing that they'll want a completely sealed(resin?) joint. I've only ever used 4core ones and can't readily see any greater than that on web. He deserves NO biscuits ever!!

Had to do a 5c 25mm joint about a year ago. i used a resin jointing kit for a 4 core 35mm and had plenty of room to crimp and sleeve the 5 25mm conductors plus the earth strap.

that's the prob with going by drawings. i prefer to pace it out. as i only got short legs, i work in yards, then add 20% for error, plus when it's in metres i get an extra 10%. anything left over goes in my scrap box
