Discuss Just checking my understanding of min c.p.c csa? in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

what are you trying to achieve ?
Just complying with regs and also that my understanding of them is correct. I know this isn't great example have used but just wanted to check that even if 3 phase circuit if I comply with table 54.7 I won't go wrong. I know adiabatic equation can be used in certain circumstances as well though. I think this would be when trying to achieve more definite disconnection times and/or possibly saving on using unnecessarily large cable sizing?

The adiabatic equation can be used in all circumstances.
Yes if you comply with that table your cpc will be the correct size.
