The Ghost

Yeh so bit of a rewire in order. You may spot 25mm four core swa zipping across the vista, piggy backed onto with the fire cable. Not long been done the fire alarm stuff. So will be interesting sorting it out. I do love a challenge. Lovely!IMG_4124.JPG IMG_4126.JPG

It was a well know firm who are not electrical but consider themselves competent to do such work for themselves. A legacy from some years ago. Someone is now moving in and we have the opportunity to get it right (ish) don't know about the swa probably have to cleat or tray it to ceiling if the boss gives the go ahead for the extra work.

It would be nice to see the 'after' picture alongside the 'before'. We all know that if anyone can sort this mess out it is you. Whoever installed the cables like this had no pride nor shame.

Love the flapping cables with a bit of white surrender tape on them, hope they aren't still live...
Maybe an interesting discussion to be had on fireproof fixings etc in that environment. Can the false ceiling be relied upon to prevent premature failure?
