A few years ago my supplier in Spain decreed that new cabling was required into my apartment..upgrading the supply was the best I could learn. They fitted new supply and, at the same time, took out my old, all metal, CU, and fitted this plastic one...now I am expecting them to tell me I must have an all-metal one again...but who knows?
Anyway, here's some pics for your comment...a bit too much exposed copper for my liking, but otherwise quite neat. Oh, the 2 seals are replaced by whatever electrician turns up to fix stuff. As for the rather poor pic of the screwdriver...it came free with some cheap toolset, and though it maybe isn't clear from the pic, the blade is twisted beyond use...and I only used it to change a plug!

If you are here in sunny Spain, LeeH feel free to come and sort it!
Matthew29, you got me going there...think I'll have to take another look...
Pulled the plug on an oil-filled radiator I had been using for an hour...the pins were so hot I got a burn...
Substituted a new fan heater...2 years old, used a handful of times only...switched it on, no fan, but the inside, visible through the grille, glowed bright red like looking at a nuclear explosion...I switched it off, left it to cool, and when I tried it again...
surprisingly, it didn't work! I am stripping it down later to see what's left.

Some more pics, all opinions gratefully received!
Maybe they just ran out of blue wire?
There's a white insulated cable coming out the bottom somewhere too...I have no idea.
