Kostal Piko

Out of necessity, we used Kostal Piko inverters for the first time today. I'll definitely be using them again. Excellent little inverters and the voltage range on them is superb - I'll definitely be using more of them in the future.

What else have I been using over the last few weeks? Linuo panels. Superb. Built like tanks and they're now my number one panel of choice.

What mounting and clips did you use on the Linuo?

K2 and 42mm clips. They're an absolute nightmare to get hold of. Most suppliers don't stock them and they can't be bothered to order them in.

I have also used the Kostal 3.6kw inverter this week and was very happy with it. Price was also more competitive than PowerOne.

It cost me more for our Piko than it does for an equivalent Power One - prices are all over the place at the moment though

Waxman were selling them for peanuts they couldnt get rid of them as no one really knew the name, one of the biggest guys in Europe tho! 3 ph are particulary cheap.. I havent used them yet tho!

Looks good, perhaps a little low on efficiency though?
