I have an older Brother P-touch 7600. Takes tape from 6mm to 24mm. Has been reliable and has survived a rough life.
The tapes are "reasonably" priced upto 18mm, but sit down to price the 24mm.

Brother P Touch here too...not sure of model number - 1000 maybe?
Doesn't do every size, just up to 12mm, but the options of wrap-around/flag/faceplate labels are very useful.

Brother here as well, not sure of model but it was the top of the range 2 years ago. I don't buy the brother labels though as they are expensive.
Brother original labels cost me 17.99 at most wholesalers each where as i now buy them off Amazon 5 for 15.00 go figure !!!!!
And they work perfectly well.

We use the brother ones, did have a dymo one that was good until it got nicked.

Like GMES we buy from ebay. I've only ever had an issue with genuine Brother cartridges never ever had a problem with the ebay knock offs!

Good evening everyone. I too am in the market for a label printer. I want to be able to do next inspection labels with my logo on in colour. Also I need to make some warning stickers to go on a swa that is running around a large building site. Help greatly appreciated

Thanks Neil
