Does anyone on here have experience or currently do any work for large house builders?

What kind of prices do they offer for new build work?

Me and my mate just smashed out three 3 bed houses in a week. And no it wasn’t a rough job, we are just fast workers and know how to get it done well (not blowing are own horns)

I’m sure I spoke to someone a while back to who said they get a day for pair to 1st fix and a day for a pair 2nd fix a 2/3 bed house....

Not possible if that incudes testing and certification, unless you are working 24/7

1st fix that is.......

I know a builder that's absolutely huge. Full breakfast every morning with 3 eggs. Drinks beer like its going out of fashion.
Think the OP means "large building firms" not how much heart attack food they get though lol

Without getting drawn in to ‘how quick can you lash out a new build’...
1st fix basic spec house.
On your own you could probably chop all the boxes in one day and start drilling out joists. Day two finishing drilling the joist holes then start pulling cables. Day three full on cable pulling day. Day four finish off wiring and do all your capping and tidy up any odd bits.
Day five if necessary

would like to see some pics.......
Probably getting ripped off and have to “smash” the work out cos the LARGE builder is milking them and telling them fixed price per property which is poor rate sad to see we are meant to be cream of the crop and not let builders take advantage I’ve learnt from my mistakes in the past as I’m sure we all have

As Lee said, there are easier ways to make money.
I'm not saying that you're making it up but that sounds unrealistic unless like someone said, we aren't getting the full pictures.
