It could just be a simple hold on circuit with a start and stop button controlling the contactor. But if there are any self contained emergency lights you will have to work out a method of maintaining their permanent supply.
 
the other thing you could do is have a line of lighting or 1 circuit on 24/7 as "police" lights posistioned in a way to give safe access , egress or one circuit switched from the door

as for LMO switch just simple contactor on the switched side of lighting to keep emergencys charging ( Its amazing how many people forget this n have EMs turn off with all lighting result 6months batterys give 5 mins light
 
Cheer for the reply mogga so you take a perm live to lmo an sw live bk to contactor with N+E from control circuit to contactor? And say is it was 1 way lighting circuit take perm live+N+E to fitting and sw live bk to contactor is this at all right our completely wrong any help would be great
