Led driver installation

I want three halogen downlights in my bathroom moved and replaced by four led downlights. Please can anyone tell me if installing led drivers involves much more work than installing halogen lights?

In terms of bathroom lighting, are cool or warm white bulbs preferred?

If you use GU10, IP rated downlights with LED lamps you do not need drivers.
Personal choice with colour but I prefer cool white.

None really. Unless you intend dimming them - this can lead to compatibility issues. I would definitely ditch the halogens in favour of LEDs.

But don't buy bargain basement GU10 LEDs!!

If you ever do want to dim them just get dimmable LED's

why not go the whole hog and fit integrated units , dimmable and colour change option. e.g JCC V50's or one of several alternatives,

Probably because in two tears time when it goes wrong they won't make that model anymore and you will not be able to match it so have to change the lot!

i never use integral downlights........for that reason.....saying to the client they dont do that model anymore you have to change all twelve in the lounge
