i walked a model home yesterday and it had been fitted with can lights that had a typical downlight, but the standard downlight trim would also emit a soft glow around the edge as an option as well. Basically the light switch toggled between those options: Downlight on, dim edge glowing only, and off. I couldnt pull them out to see what they were, and cant find them anywhere online using keyword searches. Does anyone know what i'm talking about?? I want to order these for a remodel.

TL;DR
Need help finding a unique light
In the UK the Crompton company make a range called "Spectrum" that have both a white and coloured version of what you are describing (wi-fi as well as wall control)
Maybe you could show details to local suppliers to see if there is a USA equivalent.
I think the lamps above are exclusively 240V.

They visibly look like the spectrums yes. I can’t 100% confirm if the center light was clear like that or looked more like a frosted bulb but the outer edge is exactly the same. A thin strip around the vertical edge just like the spectrum. That’s the only thing I’ve seen even close! Thanks so much. I’ll have to see if I can find a US equivalent
