Is thgis a standard UK light fitting?
It is easily swapped to replace a modern unit?

diy could take from 30 min to 5 hours depending on your
knowledge,
experience,
and if lacking in either of those 2, luck.

Welcome to the forum mate.
As above. its hard to say how long it will take to do the job.
Take a pic of the light wiring you are going to swap it with. This should give us more of a clue.
Switch off the power to the lights at the consumer unit before you go messing with it though.

The fitting looks somewhat like a standard style that has not been quite completed before being sold. Usually the various L & N connectors are already pre-joined in some crimp/twist connectors, not all just dangling loose. And usually the large E ring terminal is already fixed under one of the nuts holding the lighting bars/supports, rather than also left dangling. And a bit curious to have each set of wires loosely wrapped with yellow/green earth tape. It all adds up to lots more possibilities than normal to get things wrong.
