Installed a ne MK 12way Split load DB. When a lighting circuit is energised, the RCD trips out. This lighting circuit is on the non RCD side of the DB. By the way the lighting circiut does not have a CPC ( Built early 70's ). Looks like I will have to start breaking the cicuit down and get the old Megger out.
Did you see the the mistake. No Earth? Never work on an installation with no earth. This installation requires a total rewire. If a customer does not want to pay, walk away. Remember, Its your name on the paperwork.
