Anyone used them? Wondering how good they are. Got a job to clip some 10mm2 t&e surface and thinking of using them.

Do they hold the cable securely and stop it ‘slipping through’ and sagging?

Never used any of the linian clips to be honest.

I don't think they make a 10mm version of the t and e clip. I've been looking myself recently for a 6mm cable and noted that 6mm is as big as they do.
I only recently started using these clips and so far I'm impressed, only for round cable so far so I can't say how well they will dress t and e

I've used Schneider ones. One for up to 2.5mm^2 and another for up to 6mm^2. Personally only use them around every third clip and then the others will keep it secure.

Have only used the round versions for small swa and conduit, much neater than saddles / cleats.
only issue is if you go from solid surface with LiNina clips you have to revert back to cleats or saddles on the wooden surface Section.
which does my ocd head in

If it’s timber you could still use them though right? Just drill a hole the same as in masonry.

Could see sheet materials such as ply being a problem though probably

I've used the Linian clips a fair bit and I see them as my first option nowadays. There's a choice of colours, which is handy. I've used them on brick, block and timber as well as plasterboard. Slight changes in drill diameter for these different materials, but the finished job is very neat. You can secure bundles of cables using steel cable-ties, for extra support. T&E on a brick wall is much neater and quicker with them. You can also use them for shotgun cable and conduit.

I think if fixing single or multiple T&E cable runs to timber you could make a lovely job of it with the old style buckle clips, I imagine you can get them ?
