I'm new to the forum and looking to learn from others. I'm purely DIY so not looking at big jobs, just the odd light fitting or additional socket or two.
I used to go to my dad for advice as he knew all things electrical but he passed away last year so I'm looking for other sources of advice.
Much appreciate any help I receive.

Sorry about your dad. There’s a few grumpy old dads on here who will provide a wealth of advice whether you like it or not as per standard dad operating systems ? Welcome aboard.
