Have recently replaced some older Db’s with 18th edition metal clad following a FRA, a new assessor has come along after and stated that they now need to be boxed in and fire stopped, obviously the client is asking if this is required, I have come up with reg 421.1.201,

can anyone else thing of any other regs to back up the fact that they are 18th edition and therefore compliant?

Where are the D.Bs located in the building?
Is this a Domestic or Commercial building?
In what capacity is the assessor working, for the client / clients insurance, for the Landlord / building owner or ??

Inside the cluster front door on escape route
student/key worker accommodation
for the client, big national firm who complete FRA’s, send subbies in so they get different responses/opinions each time
