MCS Directory - Is it a scam?

Has anyone signed up with MCS Directory? We signed up in july and had an enquiry in the first week. They've been taking our fees for 6 months and we aren't on the site anymore... been too busy to look at it but no enquiries from them since...

If it's not a scam it's a pretty poor service...

We've been on it for a year, cant say for sure how many jobs we have had out of it, their been a few click throughs via google, to be honest I was going to cancel it but its not that expensive in the scheme of things, especially when compared with google, cant say I would reccomend it or not though.

Cheers for that, can you have a quick search via their facility, are you still on there? Don't mind paying if we're actually on the site!

Been on it about the same time and had forgotten all about it. Don't think I had a call I could trace back to it and when I joined up felt I had to or I would be missing out.

Like most of these things they make you feel you can't do without them and when you've paid your money you get little or nothing back...actually a bit like REAL and MCS.

It would be good to hear someone has benefitted.

To our knowledge, we haven't had a single enquiry through it. We do ask customers how they found us and no one has mentioned this directory. Of course, it may just have been how the found our site in the first place.

I used it to check that suppliers were who they said they were and to I used it mostly to findout which PV installers were in my surrounding area who I could use to contact for tenders. The search facility via postcodes is great !
